Gentlemen of Willowby Cycle Club
No hill too steep, no beer too dear!

Date: Tuesday 2nd June 2009
In attendance: Keith, Julian, Paddy & Colin
Distance: 22 miles
Weather: Perfect
Time: Departed Willowby 19.45, arrived HQ2 22.30.

With the Routemeister otherwise engaged at a birthday party, the President called the route. Turned left out of Willowby & headed for Cadover Bridge. Then new ground for an official GOWCC ride, went top side of the clay pits. After a couple of wrong turns (minor) and nearly killing a dog, we came out just west of Cornwood. From here the Routemeister-in-Waiting took over. A cracking route that skirted Lutton & went low side of the Lee Moor works to finally bring us out at Cann Wood. From there to the decking of HQ2 for well deserved refreshments & a debate on the latest jersey designs!

With the Routemeister absent, Flipper feels the pressure!
