Gentlemen of Willowby Cycle Club
No hill too steep, no beer too dear!

Date: Wednesday 22nd July 2009
Riders: Keith & Greg
Distance: 15 miles
Weather: Some cloud, but ideal cycling weather.
Time: Departed Willowby 19.35, arrived HQ 21.30.

Record return time to HQ!

Because of sickness at work I was unable to join the usual Tuesday crowd, but was happy to be able to get a ride in with Greg on Wednesday instead. Headed out fairly sharpish up over Yennadon, through a track in the woods, then picked up the leat to the back end of Burrator forest. Up to the road which we followed to just above Peak Hill where we turned left and rode over the top. We were looking for a good descent the other side, but failed! Took the road to Norsworthy then did the loop behind Sheepstor and back to HQ arriving at 21.30. After just one pint I arrived home before either Debbie or Millie had gone to bed!!
