Alcohol & Cycling don't go!
Three gents made the most of a small dry window before the rain returned. The
Routemeister had planned a long route exploring beyond Cox Tor, but due to his
impressive intake of alcohol the night before at HQ, he quickly proposed a far
gentler
trip!
Yes, cycling & alcohol defiantly go, alcohol & cycling don't! Neil made
the trip up from Devonport by bike, so he was warm by the time he arrived at
Willowby. We headed to Pew Tor, slowly made our way to the Pork Hill car park.
A quick bit of road to Merrivale then turned back off road passed Vixen Tor.
We
climbed Pew Tor then headed for home via Horrabridge. It was a very pleasant
ride & nice to be out with the Routemeister with his 'gentle' head on!!
