Kill or Cure!

Paul and myself took advantage of another nice September day to get some fresh air into our lungs, something that I needed having picked up a cold. Set out for Pew Tor, so soon hit the hill out of Huckworthy. My legs were OK, but my chest was certainly feeling it! Took the track passed Pew Tor Cottage then stopped for a photo shoot before Vixen Tor, see below.

Turned around to head back down 'Badger Alley', up passed Routrundle Farm and over to the back of Burrator Forest. Across the Meavy, right over Leather Tor bridge to re-cross the Meavy, then up to Lowrey Cross and back to Yelverton. An excellent way to spend a few hours when most of the nation are at work!!

My intention when I got home was a quiet, relaxing afternoon before work. But when I opened the door, Millie had returned home from nursery also with a cold, so that plan was scuppered! At least work was nice and quiet, as Sam can bear witness to!
