Warhorse ride…….. again.
Many apologies at the lateness of this report, a whole 20 minutes before
setting out on tonight's ride.
So everyone is at it, after the film,
the run, the horse-ride we again set out on the Warhorse Tuesday ride.
Again no representatives from
WP; shame on you lot! From homebase, down Meavy way across the ford
and on and up Earthquake. From the top, across Ringmore Down heading
for Gutter Tor, skirting around southside. Bomb down the hill to
Ditsworthy Warren House and stopping to work out a few details relating
to the
locations within the film.
Still no real incident of note in terms
of bike-riding. Drizzlecombe, Nun’s cross to the top of the
bone-shaker. Cue Mr Horler, the top of the track is now back to its
rocky old self
and I for one narrowly avoided several tumbles on the way down. A
clear night sky to admire and then onward to Leather Tor bridge.
Shaggers
van, not shagging tonight. Up by the road to Yennodon Down, straight
across to the top of Iron mine lane. Lake and then up the hill to
HQ. A very
pleasant ride and James was the first into the pub! Sorry, this is
not an interesting or witty report, I have to go now and get changed.
Reporter: Sam
President's Footnote: Nope,
I can't think of anything witty either! Was a perfect evening for a
ride though, although it has turned cold again. |
