Gentlemen of Willowby Cycle Club
No hill too steep, no beer too dear!

Date: Tuesday 26th May 2009
In attendance: Keith, Julian, Greg, Paddy, David, Chris (guest), Glen & Colin
Distance: 22 miles (from HQ2 to HQ2)

With the Routemeister turning up with a sick note, a group decision was quickly made to do the White Tor loop. We set off with eight riders, but Glen had a flat so headed back home in his car. After some rapid pumping & riding, he caught us up on the slopes of Pew Tor. From there we went around Cox Tor, dropped down behind it & then up the South face of White Tor to Stephen's Grave. Up Paddy's track then dropped off again to loop back to Cox Tor. At this point there was a split, the adventurous ascended Cox tor! We all regrouped at HQ at around 10.15pm. Our guest rider from Derriford phoned his wife & she came & took him & bike home, the GOW were very impressed!!
