Gentlemen of Willowby Cycle Club
No hill too steep, no beer too dear!

Date: Friday 22nd May 2009
In attendance: Keith & little brother Brian (until Wotter). This was not an official GOWCC ride.
Distance: 24 miles

I set out on what was intended as a short easy ride joining up with my brother on the old railway below Bickleigh. We headed down to Cann Wood then up to the old Tramway & onto the clay works. Walked up the hill to Wotter. From there we split up, Brian heading home & I decided to try going around the clay pits on the high north east side. I did this route a few years ago, but had forgotten how far it was. Parts I only managed on foot, but the majority is rideable. A route I recommend we must try one night. Total mileage was 24 (As recorded on my new Keithometer, not really sure how many real miles that is)!!
